Havilah Grace Foundation's vision for youth tech training in Nigeria and beyond
In Nigeria, over 60 percent of the population is under the age of 25. That is not just a statistic. It is a signal. A signal that the future of this country will be shaped by young people, and that everything depends on how well we equip them.
At Havilah Grace Foundation, we take that signal seriously. And everything we are building, from our data analysis training cohorts to our school AI sessions, is part of one larger mission: closing the digital access gap before it closes the door on an entire generation.
The Problem We Are Solving
Technology is no longer optional. In a world where remote work, digital commerce, and AI-powered tools are reshaping every industry, digital literacy is the new foundation of economic opportunity.
Yet for many young Nigerians, particularly those in underserved communities, access to quality tech training remains out of reach. Not because of lack of ability. Not because of lack of ambition. Because of access.

What We Have Done So Far
In 2026 alone, Havilah Grace Foundation has:
- Delivered a free 3-month Data Analysis Training Programme covering data careers, Excel, Power BI, two capstone projects, online portfolio building, and LinkedIn optimisation for global visibility
- Certified our inaugural cohort of data analysts at a formal certificate presentation ceremony
- Taken AI education directly into a secondary school, reaching students who had never considered technology as a pathway
These are not small steps. For the individuals involved, they are life-changing ones.
What We Are Building Towards
Our vision for youth tech training goes beyond individual cohorts. We are building a pipeline:
- Regular training programmes in data analysis, AI literacy, coding, and digital entrepreneurship
- School outreach that plants the seed of digital curiosity early
- An alumni network where graduates become mentors for the next cohort
- Partnerships with employers who are ready to hire the talent we are developing
Every programme we run, every certificate we award, every school we visit brings us closer to a Nigeria where digital opportunity is not determined by postal code or bank balance.
